Hunter College Theatre Department is holding auditions for its upcoming Fall production!

Shakespeare's most musical play, Twelfth Night is a carnivalesque comedy about romance, revelry, shipwrecked twins, and love. This production is inspired by the culture of post-colonial Brazil, and will be accompanied by a live band. Eighteen roles are available and may be cast regardless of gender, race, ability, or age. We are casting actors as well as musicians, singers, and dancers.

Auditioners can read a provided scene or prepare a short speech from Shakespeare's works. No need to worry if you've never acted before, or if Shakespeare is daunting. This will be a process of discovery, allowing you to grow your skills and talents.

Please check your availability for the dates below. Most roles could allow flexibility with rehearsal conflicts, but all cast members must be able to commit to tech rehearsals and performance dates. If you have any questions, you can contact the director, Benjamin Moore, at bm1584@hunter.cuny.edu.

Rehearsals: Weekdays beginning September 9th, 5:45-9:45pm

Tech rehearsals: November 6-9th

Nine performances: Tuesday-Saturday, November 13-23rd
