About
The Hunter College Theatre Department is a diverse community of students and award-winning faculty right in the heart of New York City and its vibrant theatre scene. Our BA curriculum balances history, theory, and practice by exploring time-honored theatrical traditions and contemporary performance in a liberal arts environment.
Thanks to the generosity of Patty and Jay Baker, we support our students through various initiatives including fellowships, visiting artists, theatre tickets, and the newly renovated Baker Theatre Building. Form long-lasting relationships with our distinguished faculty and meet our Tony award-winning chair Gregory Mosher.
